Another Duda Digi Image!

I really do love these new images by Diane Duda. Firstly cos they are boy images and secondly they are so quirky.
Its my son, Cameron's Birthday soon so I thought I'd get ahead of things and make him this card.
This image is called "Puppy Dogs Tails" and is available from Funky Kits.
I also purchased the new Spring Collection from CC Designs and this is a sentiment from the kit. It is fantastic buy and a bargain. so Click on the link and have a look.
My final card. The papers are from my stash, they are the papers that are designed to work with the Cricut, but never used them. I think they are perfect with this image. The Polka Dot Paper, is also from my stash and was bought from one of my many trips to the NEC.
Hope you like. There are more Diane Duda Digi Image, so go and have a look!!!! They are gorgeous.
Well Life at the moment is so busy. I have 2 magazine articles coming up, but will tell you more about them nearer the time. Plus I am trying to sort out a new Tutorial release the one I sneaky peaked last week. But work is getting in the way. I have been so busy, its Parents' Evenings this week so will be even busier!!!!!!!!!
Well have a good week. Hopefully I'll get chance to schedule some posts.

New Diane Duda Images!!

These new images from Sugar Nellie's are so quirky.
The Artist Diane Duda really does create some unusual images, I really do like them. They are so different.
These Images are Digital and available form Funky Kits now.
This image is called "To The Moon".

I stamped him in memento and coloured him using my Promarkers. I also used some very old papers I have in my Stash, from Hot of the Press, and they really do suit this image, I think.

I punched out so stars and circles and layered them up finished off with a brad in the middle to hold it all together. The sentiments are from Stampin' Up.

I highlighted some of the words on the backing paper, and added a layered star to finish it off. I wanted to do something different so I have created a circular easel card, which I think has turned out brilliantly, a style I will definitely be using again.

I hope you like.
Take care

Blog Hop and Some Sugar Candy

Hello and welcome!
You should have arrived here from Rowena's Blog
Isn't her creation gorgeous.
If you haven't arrived from there then you have missed out on some fab creations. Go back to the Sugar Nellie Blog, here, to start at the beginning of the Hop
This is the First Blog hop I have done so please be kind.
The Hop today is to Highlight the oldies but goodies.
We wanted to use all those old stamps, that are so easily forgetten about, but dust them off and have a go.
Here I have used Daisy. She was my first Sugar Nellie Stamp, and I loved her then and still do.
I made an easel card, from Cream Hammered Cardstock, to showcase her.
I have teamed her up with the retired Stampin' Up Designer Paper: Junior Varsity.
Its lovely very modern. I used a new Martha Stewart Corner Punch to pretty-up the corners, and co-ordinate with the flowers

I also used some Rose Red Wide stitched Grosgrain, also from Stampin' Up.

The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration set , (which is only available til the end of the month!!)
The Flowers are prima and from my stash, have had those for ages too, really did have to dust them off!!

I also had to make a 3D project so created a matching treat pouch with the same layout as the card, also added a little treat, some Lindor Choccies!!

I hope you like and have been inspired to use those stamps which have been pushed to one side or even treat yourself and have a browse around Funky Kits, where all the Sugar Nellie Stamps used today are available.

Right Sugar Candy time
If you don't own Daisy, but would like the chance to give her a loving home, please leave a comment, you have until midnight Sunday to enter. I will then randomly pick a winner from the comment list and let you know asap on Monday.

So leave me a comment!!

Now it Tiet's turn, so head over and see which Sugar Nellie Stamp she has used.

Take care

One for the Boys!!!

2nd Post Today
please scroll down for first
I'm always so aware of trying to come up with projects suitable for the male species, as they are quite difficult, but as I live with two, needs must.
A few days ago I made some bags for some girlies, now I have made on for the Boys!!
Again I have used the Lauren Meader Template....... Love this bag it is quite versatile, as are most of her templates.

I used some K & Co papers I have in my stash and Paper Pieced a Greeting Farm Image (The hat and T-Shirt)

I punched out lots of SU Stars and layered them. The sentiments I used are also from The Greeting Farm.

He is a bit of a cool dude!!
Hope you like. Make sure you pop back later I have a sneaky peek!!!!

Some News!!!

Hi All!!
Guess what?
Everyone at Sugar Nellie decided it was about time to have a blog hop.
Never done one before but please pop by on Saturday 1pm (GMT) and have a look at what is going on. It all starts at here. Have a look at the blog, Zoe has worked so hard on it all!

It would be fantastic for you to join us, there will be Sugar Candy and Inspiration Galore.

This Blog Hop is a little different. From what I have seen Blog Hops are all about new releases, but This one is about dusting off those oldies but goodies!

That's right we are all using the older stamps and you will have the opportunity to win them.

Right I'm off now to sort things out but will be back later with a project before tomorrow's excitement.

Some Extra Goodies!

Isn't this fab. Its a little gift I received from my SU Sister Sarah-Jane.
Despite the fact that I am no longer a SU Demonstrator I still think of them all as my Blogging and Crafting Family. She is so generous and we had a fab time at the weekend.

I made some other little goodies for the weekend. I thought these would be nice to put on the table when our friends come over for lunch on Sunday.
Everything is from Stampin' Up, except the template, which is from Lauren Meader at Papertrey.
The Cardstock includes Very Vanilla, Kraft and Not Quite Navy. The Papers are from the Belle Bleu Designer Series and the ribbon is Kraft Taffeta.

The clip is also from Stampin' Up and was a pressie from My SU Mom Julie last year for my Birthday.

I stamped the sentiment from one of the Sale-a-bration sets and punched it out using the small oval punch and then matted it onto the scallop oval punch out.

Hope you like. I'm working on a new Template at the moment and am hoping it will be ready soon, so watch this space.
Take care all and thanks for popping by.

A Few of My Favourite Things!

Well as the title suggests today's project incorporates all my favourite things:
3-D Templates by Lauren Meader,
Stampin' Up Ribbons, Papers and Chocolate Chip Cardstock,
Sugar Nellie Stamps,
Promarkers, Plus a Sketch by Tiets.

I love this colour combination too Rose Pink and Chocolate chip.
I masked all these Sugar Nellie Mangas together, to create the main images then coloured them using my Promarkers, matching the colours to the Papers from a retired set I bought last year from Stampin' Up

I tied a button from my stash around some wide stitched grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up and attached it to the project using Tombow Glue.

I have tried to follow the sketch by Tiets for this fortnights Sugar Bowl Challenge, but I think the Image may be a bit big.

I made three of these bags for three special little girls who are visiting us this weekend. They are called Lucy, Jilly and Jenna. Hopefully they will like them. They are filled with lots of goodies, which might also help.
Thanks for popping by.
Take care.

Fab Weekend!

Here are the goodies I made whilst at Jules' All Day Craft Day.
There was Passion and Temptation everywhere. The Cardstock that is. Not colours I usually use but they look fabulous together.
This Gift box houses some yummy boiled sweeties.
And this gift pouch holds two chocolate treats. All that was created before lunch.
After Lunch we got started on our Birthday Card Storage Tins. Wow!!!! I love this tin. It holds quite a few cards. I created a divider to hold some gift tags.

In the lid we stuck a calendar for you to remind you of those special dates.

Here are the cards I created. I felt a little bit naughty with my CC Design Contraband. But Hey Ho!!!! I couldn't go all day without a little colouring.

It was fab. Hello to everyone who was there.

Julie's Craft Classes are great and excellent value for money, I love them.

Right off to create some more. Thanks for popping by.

Using up Bits and Bobs Pt 3

Wow, what a busy weekend!!!
It was Pudsey on Saturday for Jules' All Day Craft Day which was brilliant! Spent to day catching up with SU Family and Friends, even though I am no longer part of the team, I was made to feel so welcome and miss them all . The Jems are a fantastic Group to be involved with and Jules is the Best SU Mom ever.
Here is a quick project I made with a few scraps.

The Topper is part of the Sale-a-bration set still available til 28th Feb, so if you are still thinking about it don't get it while you can!

This cute little box is another project from Chic n' Scratch. Angie has a video demo of it here.
I have lots of thing to do today and all of it crafting. Now the children have been taught how to use the Microwave and cook carefully they wont bother me, plus Emily makes the best cups of tea and is tall enough to reach the kettle, The joy and bonuses just keep getting better!!!!
I'm off to take photos and craft so hopefully will have lots of goodies to show this week.
Have a lovely day.

Using up Bits and Bobs Pt 2

Here is another project I created using scraps. I love these treat boxes they are soo easy to make.

I used a 6in by 6in piece of DSP Bella Bleu from SU (not strictly a piece of scrap!!!!). Instructions for this cutie can be found here. Then I layers the sides with bits a pieces.

The Card and Box were done in the same way.
I started with a piece of Not Quite Navy Card Stock from SU, 8 pieces were cut to 1.75in square. Then 8 pieces of Very Vanilla, cut to 1.5in square, and punched with a corner punch. I then stamped 4 each of the stamps from Say it With Scallops, and then punched them out with the coordinating scallop punch. I then blinged it up with gems and pearls from my stash.

Both projects were then finished off with Kraft Taffeta Ribbon.

I hope you like.
Have a love Valentines Day. I'm off to the Pictures to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with 6 children for Emily's Birthday Treat!!!!!
